Walking Tour of Galleries
Our events calendar is updated to include tours in two of New York’s major gallery-rich neighborhoods: Chelsea, the Upper East Side and TriBeCa. Each has a tremendous concentration of art galleries within just blocks from each other.
What You Can Expect:
We will have pre-planned a 2-hour tour of 6 to 8 of the best current gallery shows in that neighborhood which are accessible within walking distance
We will brief you on each artist and explore in detail how their practice and works connect with both the current art world but also past movements and artists.
We will have a stimulating informed and candid conversation about art works.
Museum Tours
Our event calendar may occasionally include certain museum exhibition, but only in museums that permit an independent tour guide. Past tours have included a David Hockney retrospective at the MET and a Modigliani exhibition at the Jewish Museum.
Artists’ Studio Tours
Our calendar will at times include the opportunity to visit an artist’s studio in NYC.
These visits allow you to meet an artist in his or her workspace.
The artist will normally speak about their bio, current vision, process and current output.
